Every Sunday, we center our hearts and minds on God, connect with one another, and then go out into the world as the body of Christ.
The word "liturgy" (the flow of a service and the words we say) literally means "the work of the people." So, everyone is a vital part of our ministry of worship!
There are lots of specific ways to be part of worship too. We need people to:
- Greet everyone with warmth and hospitality
- Lead people through the liturgy and read scripture
- Prepare communion elements
- Decorate the sanctuary for different seasons throughout the year
- Sing in the choir or play an instrument
- Operate the sound system or livestream our services
Worship is truly "the work of the people"!
